Phonak FM technology is the international standard in wireless solutions for hearing instruments. The launch of MicroLink in 1996 was a milestone in the history of hearing health care technology. During the last decade, Phonak has offered many new wireless products and services to meet the demands of different hearing impaired clients - children and adults.

By now, hundreds of thousands of persons with hearing loss are benefiting from wireless “links” to their teachers, colleagues or loved ones. Having been active for more than 10 years in the field of miniaturized FM systems, Phonak has accumulated an impressive amount of experience in this field, which remains largely unmatched in the hearing health care industry.

Start with evaluating the hearing device currently used. Most likely the hearing device you own is compatible with Phonak MicroLink FM receivers (must have T-coil or direct audio input).

Adding FM to the existing device is one possible solution. Another choice, and possibly one which offers a better return on your investment over time is to replace the hearing instrument with state of the art Phonak digital communication system with FM on board.

			Easy access to signals in public facilities is an important new service we can provide to clients purchasing FM systems. Easy access adds value, will increase satisfaction with and use of personal FM systems. Today’s “Hearing Aid Compatible Assistive Listening Technology” is available now and will be evolving further in future product designs. Phonak dispensers who are interested to make the investment in external marketing have the option to use the CONNECT program, reach out to the community to upgrade existing sound systems or add FM 216 MHz broadcasts, to provide better communication options for the hearing impaired consumer. Equipment for wide area sound distribution
_TX300V			TX300V Large Area Transmitter (not yet available in all countries) This dedicated transmitter is installed to a line level or microphone level output of a dedicated sound board or mixer. Ideal for public or private venues where the FM user would like to obtain the FM signal without using a personal FM transmitter. Consider for facilities with a seating capacity exceeding 50.

_TelCom			TelCom – Stationary Transmitter Dedicated transmitter for telephone, television or other audio input. Consider as an option to TX300V wide area transmitters in rooms with a capacity for up to 50 persons. _WallPilot			WallPilot This unit automatically synchronizes Phonak FM receivers to selected transmitting frequency. This unit is ideal for public places and meeting rooms where multiple FM users find it necessary to change transmitting frequencies.
