The differential spectrograms below show energy, over time, in the frequency range between 1000-5000 Hz. Areas shown in dark blue indicate no energy present while dark red stands for maximum energy. It shows the difference between a spectrogram with and without a feedback phase inverter. This results is either Feedback or artifacts.

As seen above, when activated, standard feedback suppression as often available in other premium hearing instruments creates artifacts (see red energy indication) throughout the entire frequency range.
