FM Demo Guide - Hearing is Believing

The idea of a "live demo center" is vital to the success of marketing wireless products.

Demonstration is the most effective way to convince the patient of the value. They must be tried.

Before proceeding with any demonstration, it is recommended that a listening check be performed with the hearing instrument and FM system that will be used.

If you are introducing FM to a consumer, it is a good idea to put the most appropriate system you have selected on the persons head and turn it on as you begin to explain.

Demonstrate the performance of the hearing instrument only, without the FM attached.

Add the FM (preferably in the "FM only" condition) and speak into the transmitter.

If they hear how great it sounds from a distance or in noise (compared to hearing instrument(s) alone) the FM is an obvious choice.

Family members will also experience the "wow" factor. Encourage them to listen along during demo. The MyLink receiver with headphones would be an ideal method of demonstration for those with normal hearing.
